As
publishers, we are often in the weeds- in charge of all those little details no
one else wants to think about. Sometimes there are clear answers found in
guidances, sometimes we ask our software vendors, sometimes we ask eSub and
other times we make decisions and cross our fingers. It would be great to have
a way to ask our peers too. Community members could send in their
pesky little questions “Dear Abby” style and we could discuss as a group.
If we got enough, we could have a theme for each month’s call e.g. Navigation,
New Module 1 or STF’s etc. and then include the topics in the agenda so people
would know what to be thinking about. (I’d say from some of the very detailed
questions members submitted for the survey, this might be well received.) Or
maybe it’s just something we do once a year. Gather questions throughout the
year and then have a call devoted to answering them.
